Banana Pudding in translation means banana pudding, but it is more like a banana pie in the pot. This beautiful dessert comes perfectly combined with layers of vanilla and banana, as well as a delicious crunchy biscuit.

Banana Pudding Recipe

Ingredients for the cream:
500 grams whole milk
395 grams condensed milk (1 can)
3 gems
30 grams of corn starch
200 grams of sour cream (any type)
1 vanilla bean or 25 grams of vanilla paste or extract

How to prepare the Cream:
First, bring the milk, half the condensed milk with the vanilla to the heat and wait for it to boil.

Meanwhile, mix the other half of the condensed milk with the yolks and cornstarch.

Afterwards, place a ladle of hot milk into the yolk mixture and mix well. Take this mixture to the pan and stir with the fouet until it thickens.

When it starts to boil, count 1 minute until the heat turns off. This is enough time to cook the cornstarch.

Finally, turn off the heat and stir in the cream. Cover with plastic film in contact with the Banana Pudding cream and set aside in the refrigerator.

Ingredients for the biscuit:
100 grams unsalted butter
100 grams refined sugar
200 grams wheat flour
60 grams eggs (2 eggs)
20 grams of vanilla extract (can substitute for vanilla essence or paste)

Preparation mode:
First, in an electric mixer, beat the butter with the sugar until a creamy and whitish mixture.

Then, add the egg, wheat flour and vanilla. Mix with your hands so you don’t develop gluten.

Make balls of about 20g and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180C degrees until the cookies are golden brown.
