1. Simple strawberry jam
Ingredients
- 340 g strawberries
- 130 g sugar
- 5 ml lemon juice
Directions
- Start by washing the strawberries well and removing the stalks;
- Place the strawberries in a pan and mash them with a fork until they are the desired size;
- Add the sugar and let stand for 10 minutes;
- Then add the lemon, cook over medium heat and stir occasionally;
- After about 20 minutes of simmering the jelly will be already consistent and ready to consume.
2. Strawberry jam for cakes
Ingredients
- 550 g strawberries
- 140 g granulated or caster sugar
Directions
- Chop the strawberries and place them in a pan;
- Add the sugar, mix a little and cook over medium heat;
- After that, stir from time to time and go removing the excess foam that is forming on the surface;
- When it is consistent to the point of brigadeiro, the jelly will be in the ideal texture;
- Then place it in a container and cover with film paper in contact with the jelly;
- Finally, let it cool at room temperature and you may use it to fill cakes or store in the refrigerator.
3. Strawberry velvety jam
Ingredients
- 300 g chopped strawberries
- 1 cup (200 ml) sugar
- ½ lemon
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter

- Place the strawberries in a saucepan, add the sugar and mix;
- Add the juice of the lemon and stir over low heat;
- Then add the butter to obtain a velvety texture;
- Continue stirring until the foam on the surface is gone and the broth is thicker;
- After this, place the jelly in a container to cool;
- When cool, place it in a jar of your choice, keep in the refrigerator, and it may be consumed in up to a week.
4. Strawberry jam with glucose
Ingredients
- 2 boxes (500 g) strawberries
- 1 liter (1/4 gallon) water
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 cup (184 g) caster sugar(can be fine crystal or demerara sugar)
- 1 tablespoon (13 g) lemon juice (juice of half a lemon)
- 2 tablespoons (36 g) corn glucose
Directions
- Wash the strawberries well under running water and place them in a bowl;
- Add the water and bicarbonate of soda, let rest for 15 minutes, then rinse and remove the leaves;
- Cut the strawberries in half, place in a thick large saucepan, add the sugar and lemon;
- After that, bring to a high fire and stir from time to time;
- As the jelly thickens keep stirring until it becomes consistent;
- Then add glucose to make the jelly glossier and last longer;
- Stir for 2 or 3 minutes, or until the desired point is reached;
- Finally, let cool well, place in a glass container, and the jelly will be ready to taste.
5. Strawberry jam diet
Ingredients
- 500 g strawberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup cooking sweetener or xylitol
Directions
- Place the washed and chopped strawberries in a thick-bottomed pan;
- Add the lemon, the sweetener, and mix with the fire still off;
- Then turn on low heat and stir occasionally;
- When it begins to boil continue stirring until the desired point;
- Turn off the heat, place the jelly in a container and refrigerate for about 3 hours to firm up;
- Keep the jelly in the refrigerator in a closed jar for 5 days.
6. Strawberry jam with Tang
Ingredients
- 2 boxes small strawberries
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- ½ squeezed lemon
- 1 packet of strawberry Tang
Directions
- In a small saucepan over low heat, mix the chopped strawberries and sugar;
- Add the lemon juice, stir a little, and let cook for 5 minutes;
- Then add the Tang and stir again until thickened;
- Turn off the fire so that the foam formed on the surface disappears;
- Stir a little more and let it cool;
- To finish, place the jelly in a glass jar and it may now be tasted in various recipes.
7. Strawberry jam with gelatin
Ingredients
- 300 g (1 box) strawberries
- 2 tablespoons xylitol or other sweetener
- 6 g unflavored gelatin
- 2 tablespoons hot water
Directions
- Cut the strawberries into small pieces and place them in a pan;
- Add the sweetener, mix, cover and simmer until boiling;
- In a glass place the gelatine, hot water, stir until dissolved and set aside;
- Then mash the strawberries with a fork to break up the pieces;
- Place them in a bowl, add the gelatine, stir well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes;
- Then just put the jelly in a glass jar with a lid and keep in the refrigerator.
8. Strawberry jam with wine
Ingredients
- 6 cups chopped fresh strawberries
- 2 juices from two lemons
- 12 teaspoons of pectin
- 800 g caster sugar
- 100 ml cabernet red wine or dry red wine of your choice
Directions
- In a pan place the strawberries, the juice of the lemons and, over low heat with the pan uncovered, cook for 30 minutes;
- Add the pectin to the sugar, stir well, and mix in the pan with the jelly;
- Let it simmer on low heat for another 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes;
- Then turn off the heat, add the wine, and mix;
- Finally, store the jam in sterilized glass jars and turn them upside down to ensure they are properly sealed.
9. Strawberry jam with demerara sugar
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 and ½ tablespoons demerara or stevia sugar
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Directions
- Put the strawberries in a bowl and mash them with a fork or use a mixer to mash them;
- In a saucepan place the crushed strawberries and bring to a simmer over low heat;
- Add the lemon juice and mix well;
- Then add the sugar and cook for 2 or 3 minutes;
- Pour the jelly into a bowl, add the chia seeds, and mix gently;
- Wait 5 minutes to reach the point, place in a glass jar and keep refrigerated for 4 days.
10. Strawberry jam fit with chia
Ingredients
- 500 g strawberries
- 100 ml water
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons chia
Directions
- In a saucepan place the strawberries cut in half, add the water and light over low heat;
- Add the vinegar, mash the strawberries a little, and let it cook with the pan uncovered;
- Then add the chia, stir a little and cook for about 5 minutes until thickened;
- Put the jelly into a glass jar, let it cool, and put it in the refrigerator;
- Keep refrigerated, so you can consume the jelly for up to a week.
