Sable pasta recipe
Ingredients:
250 grams of wheat flour
1 pinch of salt
125 grams of refined sugar
125 grams of butter (in cream)
1 egg
Wheat flour – to sprinkle
Method of preparation:
First sift the wheat flour together with salt and refined sugar.
Then add the butter, in an ointment point. To obtain the butter in an ointment point you must leave it at room temperature, the name is an ointment point, because the consistency of the butter is similar to that of an ointment.
Then add the eggs, and mix well, the dough is very uniform.
Then Wrap in film and let it sit for 30 minutes in the fridge. After this rest you can open the dough and use.
Sable dough with almond flour
Ingredients:
150 grams of ointment butter
90 grams of icing (or refined) sugar
1 pinch of salt
30 grams of almond flour
1 egg
250 grams of wheat flour
Method of preparation:
First, in a bowl, mix the butter with sugar, salt and almond flour.
Soon after, add the egg and wheat flour and mix until it forms a dough and close together.
Then wrap the sablée dough in film and refrigerate to rest for at least 1 hour. After this rest you can use the dough.
This dough is great to be used as a base in lemon tart, strawberry tart or even cheesecake. Some people only sell this pie base, it’s also a way to earn some money because you can pack and sell only the base.
