1. Simple passion fruit jam

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups passion fruit pulp
  • Juice of half a lemon

Directions

  1. In a pan, place the sugar and passion fruit pulp;
  2. Add the 2 tablespoons of lemon juice;
  3. Bring to a boil and stir occasionally;
  4. After 10 minutes, put some of the jelly on a plate;
  5. Turn the dish over and observe if the jelly goes down slowly. If it does, it is just right;
  6. Turn off the heat and remove the excess foam with the help of a spoon;
  7. Place the hot jelly in a sterilized glass;
  8. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice on top and cover;
  9. Leave the glass upside down, wait for it to cool and serve as desired!

2. Passion fruit jelly with the peel

Ingredients

  • 3 passion fruits with peel
  • 200 g sugar

Method of preparation

  1. Remove the pulp from the passion fruit and set aside;
  2. Place the fruit peels in a pressure cooker and cook for about 20 minutes;
  3. Meanwhile, place the pulp in a saucepan and bring to a boil;
  4. Strain the pulp to remove the seeds and set aside;
  5. With the peels of the fruit already cooked and cold, remove the white part, place in a blender and beat with the strained pulp;
  6. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, add the sugar, bring to the fire and stir until the sugar is melted;
  7. Put 1 tablespoonful of the seeds into the jelly to decorate;
  8. Pour the jelly into a sterilized pot, cover and boil upside down to seal. Then it will be ready.

3. Passion fruit jelly with lemon

Ingredients

  • 3 passion fruit pulp
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 lemon

Directions

  1. In a pan, place the passion fruit pulp, sugar, water and mix over medium heat, stirring from time to time;
  2. As soon as it begins to gain consistency, add the lemon juice;
  3. Remove the foam from the jelly with the aid of a skimmer;
  4. When it is at the point of gel, place in a sterilized glass;
  5. Cover jar and turn upside down to create vacuum;
  6. Store and consume as you prefer.

4. Passion fruit jelly with corn starch

Ingredients

  • 2 passion fruit pulp
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 80 ml water

Method of preparation

  1. In a pan, add the passion fruit pulp, sugar and cornstarch dissolved in water;
  2. Stir over low fire until thickened a little;
  3. Transfer to a bowl, let cool out of the refrigerator and enjoy!

5. Passion fruit jelly with vinegar

Ingredients

  • 800 g passion fruit
  • 1.8 l filtered water
  • 400 g sugar
  • 100 ml apple vinegar

Directions

  1. Cut the passion fruit in half, remove the pulp in a strainer and set aside;
  2. Remove the film from inside the passion fruit, peel and keep only the white part of the fruit;
  3. Put them in a pressure cooker, cover with 1.5 l of water and cook on pressure for 15 minutes;
  4. Meanwhile, strain the pulp to release the rest of the juice and set aside;
  5. Bring the seeds to a boil with 300 ml of water;
  6. Cook for about 5 minutes, turn off the heat, strain the seeds again and set aside;
  7. Place the white parts of the cooked fruit in a blender;
  8. Add 1 to 2 ladles of the cooking water and whisk;
  9. In a saucepan, place the mixture from the blender, the pulp, the strained seeds, sugar and apple cider vinegar;
  10. Mix together and cook over low heat;
  11. After 30 minutes, turn off the heat and add 2 tablespoons of the washed seeds;
  12. Mix again and store in a sterilized container.

6. Passion fruit jam with Tang

Ingredients

  • 300 ml of passion fruit pulp
  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • 1 packet of Tang passion fruit juice
  • 100 ml water

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, place the passion fruit pulp, sugar and cook until boiling;
  2. When it comes to a boil remove the foam;
  3. Add the Tang juice packet and stir until it begins to bubble;
  4. Add the water, cook another 15 minutes and turn off the heat;
  5. Transfer the hot jelly to sterilized glass jar and it is ready.

7. Passion fruit jelly with mango

Ingredients

  • 2 passion fruits
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 lemon

Directions

  1. Remove the pulp from the passion fruit and set aside;
  2. Cook the peel in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes;
  3. Remove the white part of the peels;
  4. In a saucepan place the mango, passion fruit pulp, the white part of the fruit, sugar, water and lemon;
  5. Mix well and bring the pan to a low fire;
  6. Remove the foam and when it reduces a little, add a little water;
  7. Keep stirring and squeezing the fruits;
  8. When it thickens, it is ready. Transfer to sterilized glass and enjoy.

8. Passion fruit jelly with banana

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe plantains
  • 200 ml passion fruit juice concentrate
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1/2 passion fruit pulp with seeds

Directions

  1. Mash the bananas and place them in a pan;
  2. Add the passion fruit juice, sugar and cook over medium heat;
  3. After 7 or 8 minutes, add the passion fruit pulp with seeds;
  4. When the jelly begins to darken, turn off the fire;
  5. Let the jelly cool, transfer to a jar, and store in the refrigerator.

9. Passion fruit jelly with apricot

  • 500 g apricot
  • 1/4 cup passion fruit juice
  • 1 grated apple
  • 500 g granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cognac
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 1 l water
