Has it cooled down? So the broth season is already open. Here on the site we have several recipes such as the famous bean broth. But for those who want to get out of the ordinary, tomato broth is a great choice.
In addition to being a broth with few calories, tomato broth has few ingredients and is super tasty, serving both to be consumed pure, as well as serving as an accompaniment to breads and toasts. Check out our recipe:
Tomato Broth Recipe
1kg of tomato
500ml of water
1 tablespoon of spicy seasoning
1 can of skinless tomato or 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
½ can of cream (100ml)
First, cut the tomatoes into 4 , and cook with 500ml of water for about 15 minutes.
Afterwards, remove the tomato without the water, but do not discard the water (we will use it later) and beat the tomato in a blender (or use a food processor) so that it turns into a puree.
In a saucepan, saute the spicy seasoning with a little oil and add the puree, the can of skinless tomatoes or the two tablespoons of the extract.
Then add the cooking water and allow the cream to mature, after it has finished add the seasonings as salt, seasoning to taste and add the cream.
Soon after, let it boil and turn it off.
Finally, the tomato broth can be served with cheese and toast or inside Italian bread.
This broth, once ready, is valid for 3 days. However, you can make small portions and freeze, that way you will have tomato broth all year long. Just take it out of the freezer, leave it at room temperature for a few hours and place it in a pan or microwave to heat up.
Make this recipe in your house, I’m sure it will be very successful.
