Anyone who is a fan of Pinterest has surely seen some pin of the famous avocado toast. Beautiful, the recipe is actually very simple to make and looks delicious. The basic ingredients used are avocado and breadsticks! But you can vary and give that incrementada. And here in this post we teach you how. Just take a look:

1. Avocado toast with mix of nuts and spices

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin bean
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seed
  • 1 cup cashew nuts
  • 1 cup Brazil nuts
  • 1/4 cup white sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup black sesame
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 slice whole wheat bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Flor de sal to taste
  • Sicilian lemon zest to taste
  • Pickled red onion to taste
  • Coriander to taste

Directions

  1. In a frying pan, place the chili, allspice, cumin, and coriander seeds and lightly toast for three minutes;
  2. Transfer to a food processor and pulse until everything is fine. Set aside;
  3. In the same skillet, place the cashew nuts, the Brazil nuts, the white sesame, the black sesame, the sunflower seeds and also lightly toast;
  4. Place in processor, adjust salt and blend some more. Set aside;
  5. In skillet, put the butter, lemon juice, and toast the slice of bread on both sides;
  6. Cut the avocada into medium slices and place over the bread;
  7. Season with salt and add the nut and spice mix, lime zest, red onion pickles and cilantro;
  8. It is ready!

2. Avocado toast with roasted red pepper homus

Ingredients

  • 1 red pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil to taste
  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of bread
  • Chives to taste

Directions

  1. Place the bell pepper on a sheet of aluminum foil and rub in salt, pepper and olive oil;
  2. Wrap and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until tender;
  3. Place in a food processor and add the chickpeas, hot water, juice of half a lemon, cumin, oregano, paprika, garlic and blend very well until it becomes a paste;
  4. Peel the avocado, place in a bowl with the remaining lemon juice, salt, pepper, and mash well;
  5. In a frying pan, put a dash of olive oil and toast the slices of bread;
  6. Place the avocado paste on top of the slices, the homus and finish with chopped chives!

3. Avocado toast with mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 150 g brown mushrooms
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons shoyu sauce
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread

Directions

  1. In a bowl, place the avocado, mash until it becomes a paste, add the lemon juice, salt, pepper and mix well. Set aside;
  2. In a saucepan, put the chopped mushrooms, the water, salt, pepper and cook until the liquid reduces;
  3. Then add the shoyu and fry for another minute;
  4. Toast the bread slices in a pan and place the avocado paste with the mushrooms on top!

4. Avocado toast with egg and bacon

Ingredients

  • Olive oil to taste
  • 2 slices of Italian bread
  • Bacon in small cubes to taste
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • Chives to taste

Directions

  1. In a frying pan, pour a little olive oil and toast the bread. Set aside;
  2. In the same skillet, add the bacon and fry until golden brown. Set aside;
  3. In a bowl, place the avocado, mash well and add the onion, tomato, lemon juice, pepper, salt and olive oil;
  4. Spread this little paste over the slices of bread, add the hard-boiled eggs cut in half, and finish with the bacon on top and chopped chives on top!

5. Avocado toast with poached egg

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • Rice vinegar
  • Water
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chorizo to taste
  • 1 lemon
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Italian bread

Directions

  1. Break the egg into a bowl and set aside;
  2. In a saucepan, put water, vinegar and as soon as it starts to boil, make a swirl with a spoon and put the egg in the middle
  3. Cook for three minutes and repeat the process with the other egg;
  4. In a bowl, place the avocados, mash well and season with salt, pepper, green smell and add the lemon juice;
  5. In a frying pan, put a little olive oil and toast the slices of bread;
  6. Cover the slices with the avocado paste and finish with the poached egg on top.

6. Avocado toast with cherry tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes to taste

Directions

  1. Toast the bread slices on both sides and set aside;
  2. In a bowl, place the avocado, mash well and season with salt and pepper;
  3. Cover the slices of bread with this paste and garnish with cherry tomatoes cut in half.

7. Avocado toast with olives

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Lemon to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Calabrian pepper to taste
  • Italian bread
  • Black olives to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes to taste

Directions

  1. In a bowl, place the avocado, mash well and add the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and mix. Set aside;
  2. In a non-stick baking pan, place the bread slices and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until lightly toasted;
  3. Remove from oven and place the avocado paste, olives and halved cherry tomatoes on top.

8. Avocado toast with pesto sauce

Ingredients

  • Basil to taste
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • Olive oil to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Water to taste
  • Tomato sauce to taste
  • Shaped bread
  • Sunflower seeds to taste

Directions

  1. In a blender, place the basil, the peanuts, the olive oil, the garlic, the salt, a little water and beat everything very well until it turns into a paste. Set aside;
  2. Spread a little tomato sauce on the slices of bread and toast in a frying pan with olive oil;
  3. Top the buns with the pesto sauce, place avocado slices on top sprinkle some sunflower seed!
