1 and 1/4 cup (tea) of wheat flour Famiglia Venturelli Gourmet (185g)
1/2 cup melted butter (110g)
1/2 cup (tea) brown sugar (75g)
1/2 cup (refined) sugar (100g)
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 egg
150g of chocolate drops (1 cup of tea)
Hazelnut cream for stuffing

Method of preparation

In a bowl, beat the melted butter with the sugars, add the salt and mix well. Then add the egg, vanilla essence and mix again until very homogeneous.

Now, with the help of a sieve, add the wheat flour and baking soda. Mix again, but without beating. Finally, add the chocolate drops and mix again. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

After that time, divide the dough into two equal amounts. At the bottom of a mold (approx. 17cm in diameter), place the first part. Spread the hazelnut cream without reaching the edges. Cover with the second layer of dough. If you want, put a few drops of chocolate on top.

In a preheated oven at 180ºC, bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. After that, let it cool completely, unmold and serve! Don’t worry, when you take the cookie out of the oven it may still be a little soft, but after cooling it will be crunchy!
